United States — Certified Operations

CarbonClearingHouse offers certified carbon plug well services in the United States through our partnership with Tallgrass Bison Restoration, LLC — a company co-founded by our own Josh Bentsen, Principal Partner and Carbon Credit Technical Engineer.

Tallgrass Bison Restoration caps orphaned, abandoned, and marginal oil & gas wells across the United States, permanently capturing methane gas and locking it deep in the earth where it has been for hundreds of millions of years. Once a well has been capped, the land is restored to its native condition — rewilded with native tallgrass, plants, flowers, and trees.

Each capped well generates premium carbon credits that are validated and registered with ACR, CarbonPath, and BCarbon. A complete well history is created for each project, including before-and-after documentation, peer-reviewed verification, and full chain-of-custody traceability.

International — Partnership Network

Outside the United States, CarbonClearingHouse offers carbon plug well services through a network of qualified international partners. Our team of Professional Engineers and carbon credit specialists provides technical oversight, project structuring, and registry coordination for well remediation projects in any jurisdiction.
